According to Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, TDF Co., Ltd. hereby establishes and discloses the following personal information processing policy to protect the personal information of the information subject and to handle any problems related to this in an efficient and smooth manner.
1. Purpose of processing personal information
TDF processes personal information for the following reasons:
[Recruiting purposes (i.e. receiving inquiries, processing applications, notifying results as the recruiting process progresses etc.), issuing user guidance information regarding the company’s Internet-related services, and forming resource pools.
The personal information being processed shall not be used for any other purposes than those stated below. If there is a change in the purposes, TDF will follow up with the necessary actions, including asking for additional permission from the user, according to Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
2. Rules on collecting and using personal information
E-mail addresses, job applications and inquiries submitted to TDF via the Career, T Academy, and Contact menus shall be received and managed directly by TDF. The company that hires the applicant/s shall later be responsible for managing the information.
3. Right to disagree and understanding the disadvantages that follow
Applicants have the right to disagree with providing their personal information below. However, since agreeing to provide the information is an essential clause in the company’s recruiting & application process, the company will not be able to proceed with a fair selection process if it does not receive the related information. Therefore, by not agreeing to provide the personal information below, applying for the recruitment and for the application selection process may be limited. The disadvantages resulting from the right to disagree involves all the clauses presented below for agreeing to provide the information.
4. Personal information collected
Items collected: “According to the Personal Information Protection Act, I agree to provide the following sensitive information, including my name, email address, phone number, portfolio URL, resume, self-introduction essay, inquiries, and attachments etc.”
5. Data retention period
The personal information provided in a job application form will be utilized in the company’s resource pool for recruiting purposes and stored until the applicant requests that it be deleted. If an applicant requests that the personal information be deleted, the company shall delete it.
